ECONYL® - Recycled nylon

From waste to quality product: our mats made from ECONYL®

ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon produced from various types of nylon waste. In a chemical regeneration process, these materials are broken down into their constituent components and reprocessed into high-quality nylon that can be used to manufacture durable products.

ECONYL® helps to reduce the demand for new fossil-based raw materials. Compared with the production of virgin nylon, this helps to conserve valuable resources. According to the manufacturer, Aquafil, processing 10,000 tonnes of raw material can save up to 70,000 barrels of crude oil.

With our Eazycare Duet, Eazycare Rush, Eazycare Style and Eazycare Wash dirt-trapping mats, we rely on ECONYL® and offer a durable solution for high-traffic areas – combined with an innovative material concept that places the focus on reuse.

The benefits of ECONYL® at a glance:

  • Conservation of resources: ECONYL® enables the use of regenerated nylon raw materials and can help to reduce the demand for new fossil-based raw materials.
  • Recycling of nylon waste: Nylon waste, such as disused fishing nets and other suitable materials, can be used in the production of ECONYL®.
  • Quality: Possesses the same properties as new nylon: lightweight, soft, strong, elastic and breathable.
  • Recyclability: ECONYL® can be reprocessed as part of the recycling system and used for new nylon products.
